Day 7 of Decluttering Challenge...Return to Simplicity

This is Day 7 of the decluttering challenge running inside the community, and it's the episode I almost didn't record. Somewhere in the middle of a meditation this week, a question caught me off guard: who was I before all of this, the closets, the inbox, the noise, started piling up? Not a metaphor. An actual person, with an actual rhythm to her days. This episode is me following that question all the way down. Through a season in Toronto, a season in Cleveland, a tree I touched on a run without thinking twice. And what I found on the other side of it wasn't a cleaner life. It was an older one, the one underneath the version I'd been managing.
