Episode title: Doing Hard Things Builds Character

The Stoics believed in practicing discomfort before life forced it upon us. Doing hard things builds character because it teaches us how to remain grounded when the mind becomes loud and the path ahead is uncertain.

In this episode, I explore how physical challenges bring us out of negative thought spirals and back into the body. Inspired by Don’t Believe Everything You Think, we look at how our thoughts can feel convincing without being true.

I also share what I have learned from watching my partner prepare for a 240-mile ultramarathon. His consistency, conviction, and integrity have shown me that character is not suddenly revealed at the finish line. It is built through every quiet decision to show up.

This episode is an invitation to choose the hard things that expand your capacity, deepen your self-trust, and remind you who you are.
